The bust, cut down at the chest, features an elderly bald man with the flabby face turned to right.

The eyes, showing rather deep bags, are surmounted by frowning eyebrows. Deep wrinkles are carved on the forehead, at the root of the nose and to either side of the mouth. The lips are thin and tightly closed.

The bust dates to the early period of Augustus.
